Do you love matte lipsticks, but hate the drying and cracked feeling that it leaves your lips? Too Faced has a solution for this dilemma: the Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick. It has an innovative formula that makes sure your lips look rich, full, and kissable with its ultra-matte and opaque finish. Infused with Volulip, it plumps and soothes your lips without the stinging feeling. The avocado oil rejuvenates the lips with its antioxidant properties, plus the vitamin E and hyaluronic filling spheres moisturize and smoothen the lips.
Too Faced Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Jerrod Blandino says that Melted Matte is the most beautiful, pigmented, and rich than other lipsticks’ melted form in cosmetic labs. What’s more, the liquified lipstick is gluten-free and cruelty-free, meaning that it wasn’t tested on animals. The packaging is a transparent, triangular shaped bottle that is chic and unique at the same time. It allows you to see the color of the lipstick easily. The label is embossed in gold lettering with a matching gold cap and gold neck. The doe-foot applicator makes applying the lipstick easier and smoother – the round end is used for the lower lip while the angled end is used for the upper lip.
Too Faced Melted Matte has a thin, watery consistency that almost feels too liquified at first but it actually helps in applying the lipstick so it glides on the lip just like a lip gloss. Afterwards, it dries and develops a matte finish in about 5 to 15 seconds with a fully-saturated color and opaque finish. The color lasts for up to five hours if you are eating, and can last longer if you aren’t. As the color wears off, it starts off as fading seamlessly rather than peeling off.

How to Have Ombre Lips with Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick
Too Faced Global Artistry Expert and makeup maven Elyse teaches us how to have the perfect ombre lips using Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick, as seen on the Too Faced website:
Prepare your lips using a thin layer of Lip Injection Extreme, a serum-based gloss formula that plumps and primes your lips while moisturizing it.
Using Melted Matte in It’s Happening!, define your lips with a lip brush by marking an X in the cupid’s bow. Pull the brush from the outside corner towards the top of the X to connect. Whether you prefer to overdraw your lipstick, or stay in the lines, defining the perimeter of the lips will give you maximum control and save you time in the long run.
Now that your lip line is defined, fill in your lips using the doe foot applicator. Start from the corner of your mouth and work inward for more control. Remember that a little goes a long way!
To increase your pout, layer Melted Matte in 1998 on the center of your lips. This adds serious dimension. Use your ring finger to press the color in for an easy ombre effect.
Making a mistake is only natural when you’re trying a new technique. Use a lip brush with a little concealer to clean up any mistakes.
To give this matte look a glamorous, high-gloss shine, simply apply a topcoat of Lip Injection Extreme. This is an easy and beautiful way to add drama to your look without the fear of bleeding.
